Fenwick & Tilbrook Tinting Machine now in store
We are pleased to announce that as part of our on going expansion of our Decorator Centre in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire and our website we will can now mix the full range of Fenwick and Tilbrook paints in store ready for same day collection from Ashby Decorator Centre, or these paints be be dispatched on an overnight delivery service anywhere in the UK.
We have huge stock in all finishes and sizes, including Clay Paint for older properties where a highly breathable paint is required, designed for use on lime plastered walls.
We also have stocks of Fenwick and Tilbrook Ultimate Masonry in 1ltr, 2.5ltr and 5ltr. Perfect for use on exterior masonry, render, brickwork, concrete and blockwork. We were pleased to see the masonry available in smaller sizes, perfect for painting stone window sills, and smaller exterior projects. For exterior wood and metal we have the Exterior Eggshell available in all F&T colours. The Exterior Eggshell in designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. We only use top quality colourants that are designed not to fade in the sun.
We also have stocks of the highly popular Pure Matt PLUS paint in 1ltr, 2.5ltr and 5ltr, the perfect paint for high traffic areas and busy family homes, with children and pets. Also perfect for using in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, this strong, scrubbable, washable emulsion has a class 1 scrub rating.
Fenwick & Tilbrooks colour range is proving to be very popular in store, and we are very excited to be able to mix these colours in store and offer them online as well, and after seeing the reaction of this brand and feedback from our customers, we feel this brand fits perfectly with the other designer paint brands we stock and sell.
Fenwick and Tilbrook Claypaint
We now stock Fenwick and Tilbrook Claypaint. This paint is an ultra-matt, highly breathable water-based paint, specifically designed to be applied to lime plastered walls. These are usually found in older properties. This paint has excellent covering power, and allows walls to breath and moisture escape without the paint applied on top being damaged by this process. Paints that seal the surface would not be suitable for this and would eventually fail, and flake off. Claypaint in designed to stop this happening.
It has a very low sheen level of 2% and is touch dry in 1 hour. Due to the chalky nature of Claypaint some colours are not available due to how the colours appear being influenced by the chalky finish. This paint is for interior use only and can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. It is advised that Claypaint is used in the coolest part of the day and not used in warm conditions to achieve best results.
Aftercare of Claypaint - surfaces should be treated with care, they can be wipes gently with a cloth, due to its ultra-flat finish this paint is not designed to be scrubbed, and will mark easily. Brushes and rollers should be cleaned in water.
